The website presents my artistic journey in the digital space.

I represent the world through the button - a paraphrase of William Blake's "To see the world and its fullness in a grain of sand."

This familiar and less valuable object used to fasten the garment is perceived as a handsome item, carrying personal and historical emotional baggage, and therefore invites the viewer into an enjoyable visual experience. The button is a ploy to draw the viewer into the colorful works. Only upon closer inspection will the viewer discover tragic events.

I hand-stitch thousands of buttons that express the "yes", loops that represent the missing and the scar, tiny worry dolls, beads. The viewer, caught in the "ambush" of the colorful materials, suddenly discovers the difficult themes of loss, killing, bereavement and/or Holocaust.
My works are based on historical research and deal with historical issues as well as social, feminist and ecological issues. They have many layers taken from Jewish sources, mythology, literature, historical and current events. I often incorporate labyrinths as a feminine motif in my work. I also design labyrinths for walking in public spaces and engage viewers with interactive works.
